Detailed Design

No detail was overlooked in this metal grandfather clock’s creation. The impressive floating glass dial is illuminated by lighting and features applied polished stainless steel bar markers, black finished minute and hour hands, and a continuous sweep red second hand. The unique hour hand is part of the clock’s modern design.

Adjustable Lighting

The slim pendulum of this clock is finished in polished stainless steel and features an acrylic cylinder, illuminated by lighting. Adjustable levels of lighting are controlled by a touch dimmer pad.

Quartz Movement

Featuring quartz movement, this clock requires one AA sized battery and two C size batteries for operation.

Extra Stability

This grandfather clock features floor glides, which offer stability and protection on non-carpeted surfaces.

During World War II, Howard Miller joined forces with the Ford Motor Co. to produce anti-aircraft covers. In the 1960s, the company turned its attention to grandfather clocks, eventually earning the company the title of "World's Largest Grandfather Clock Manufacturer." In 1989, Howard Miller began creating collectors cabinets with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship inherent in their clockmaking. Fashioned from glass and hardwoods, the cabinets are ideal for displaying heirlooms, plates, glassware and other collectibles.
